  • Bonjourno Edward,
Do you mind if I ask what type of work do you do from home?

  • Hey Ed, welcome to WCDO! Hope you can make it out to one of our events soon!

  • Hello Edward,
My name is Tammy. I recently moved to Denver but have been was a St. Louis native for 40 years. There is a parade to welcome the Iraq veterans home on Jan 28th. They are in desperate need of volunteers. I thought maybe you could go to the website and if it's something this meetup group would be interested in - post it as an event.
http://january28group.org/?page_id=55 is the link that talks about the event and volunteer sign up. Any help is greatly appreciated.
    Tammy

  • I read Dune years ago. Good series. Recently read The Martian Chronicles by Ray Bradbury, Fluke and The Stupidest Angel by Christopher Moore, Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter by Seth Grahame-Smith, Cat's Cradel by Kurt Vonnegut, Boneshaker by Cheri Priest.....can't remember the rest. Never met a sci-fi book that I didn't like, lol.

  • Ed, I totally agree about sci-fi versus fiction. There is no contest! What is one of your favorite books/series?

  • I want to be sure we both were clear, lol, ok so if someone sends me an email through meetup, there is no inbox on a meetup account to view or respond to the email?

I say this because although I was able to read the email in my personal inbox, I wasnt able to see an email address to the person who sent it. So I see where I can click on envelopes to email others - what I was asking is - is there an email inbox on meetup itself that belongs to my personal account?

  • Hi Edward, thank you, that is actually a very deal approach to take with the group. one question, I am a bit new to meet up.com, where do go to read emails? I saw the email you sent by reading it through my personal email inbox, but Im over here searching for a personal email box on meet up and Im not seeing one.... help? lol =)
