What this group does:

.

In this group, singles fill out a Wish Slip and select the person they want to meet.  When he or she does the same, there’s a match and both meet.  The Wish Slip is handled by the organizer, in an attempt to eliminate the dreaded face-to-face rejection.  Singles have an opportunity to meet more than one person.

This group offers age-grouped events (age groups vary with events):

Singles 22 to 48 - - Singles 37 to 54 - - Singles 47 and up.

Singles meet at various venues in Lee County.  Members must be single and available for a romantic relationship.

Depending on the venue, events require a one-drink or a two-drink minimum.  Tickets are $7 (for one drink) or $12 (for two drinks).  Purchase tickets at check-in.  Form of payment is cash only.

Events require that members follow posted rules and event instructions. Member membership, check-in, and event participation constitute agreement to the rules and instructions.

This is not a speed-dating group (but better).

Events are time sensitive. Events require members to arrive timely at the "Arrival Cut-Off Time."  Events are short and effective, about 90 minutes long.

Events that are held on Mondays, Tuesdays, or Fridays start (in most cases) at 7:30 PM and end at 9 PM. Events that are held on Saturdays or Sundays start (in most cases) at 3 PM and end at 4:30 PM.

Events are action packed. Events require that members eat before or after, but not during, the event. (You won't have time to eat.  You will be busy playing the Ice-Breaker Game.)

Members play an Ice-Breaker Game.  This allows singles to easily talk with one another.

Events require that members order drinks, if any, immediately after checking in and return to the designated area by the published "Arrival-Cut-Off Time."

Event itinerary (for most events):
7:30 Check in, receive Id# & badge, purchase tickets, and get drinks
7:45 Published "Arrival Cut-Off Time"; instructions begin
7:59 Members play an Ice Breaker Game (EZ Socialize)
8:00 Members meet singles at the Interview Table (Round 1)
8:15 Members meet singles at the Interview Table (Round 2)
8:30 Members meet singles at the Interview Table (Round 3)
8:45 Cool down & mingle as desired; event ends; voluntary survey

Event Cancellation: Members understand and agree that ... scheduled events require a minimum number of members.  Events are subject to cancellation when a minimum number of members fails to RSVP YES for a scheduled event.  The required minimum number of members is determined by the sole discretion of the organizer, based on a subjective evaluation of age and gender balance.

Cancellation Notification: Members agree to check ... this site or their email or both twenty-four (24) hours prior to a scheduled event to receive event updates.

Members understand that the cancellation of one event ... (or two events) does not affect the cancellation of an event which is not canceled where two or more age-grouped events are scheduled for the same date and time and location.

You will not find this type of group anywhere else. And it is the best singles group, anywhere.
