Have you ever felt that you didn't receive enough love and support in your past romantic relationships?
Does the excitement of dating, being open to love again also brings up those fears of loneliness and being hurt again?
This group is for women loving women singles who would like to experience a greater capacity for intimacy.
Our group is named after Bishop T.D. Jakes saying, "you may be a "10-gallon person" with a large capacity for love as he talks about how someone with 10 gallons to give is born into a family or finds themselves surrounded by those who have pint-size capacities. Interestingly, many of my closest women loving women friends think we are all unicorns, that fantasy creature who travel in herds.
As an out lesbian for over 25 years and a seminarian (studying minister), I have had my share of dating difficulties and have been blessed to connect with others who also experience various types of relationship challenges, most of whom were highly successful in many other arenas of their lives. I have found is that many of us approach romantic relationships in ways not of their own choosing, but in a style of what relationships that is most familiar to us.
If you are frustrated by disappointing relationships, missed connections, and the loneliness of the search for someone to spend the rest of your life with, this group is an opportunity to explore and support each other in the highs and lows of dating as we discover the meaningful, long lasting relationships.
