I have had great success as a journalist and writer and work as a writing coach. I founded and direct the Boulder Writers' Workshop. I work with clients in most
I would lead a reform of the Family Court System, in which judges and the folks involved making decisions currently are not informed about the current research on how joint custody harms children and do not realize the negative ramifications of joint custody. I would also like to train court-related personnel to recognize abusive, narcissistic men and would also like the courts to listen to children's wishes regarding who they live with.
I think that the domestic sphere as a worthwhile endeavor has been devalued so women who choose to remain at home and raise their children too often get criticized by their full-time working peers. I think that the workaholic lifestyle we live in also puts men in positions where they can't spend time with their families.
The devaluation of the home and domestic sphere as having legitimate worth means that our children are being raised by institutions rather than parents. Our communities are suffering as a result of both men and women working too many hours. Our workplaces do not support families.
I am a published author and a writing coach. I founded and directed the Boulder Writers' Workshop. I am interested in improving the lot of children in the Family Court System and preserving women's reproductive rights to raise their own children.
