What book/s would you include on a list of '1000 books to read before you die?'

That would be a long list. First that comes to mind is Russian classical literature - short stories by Anton Chekhov, Dostojevski's novels ("Crime and Punishment", "The Brothers Karamazov" and "Idiot") and poetry of Russian Silver Age (Tsvetaeva, Akhmatova, Mandelshtam, Pasternak); poetry and essays of Josef Brodsky; everything by Virginia Woolf, Robert Walser and W.G. Sebald.

Where do you live in London?

Putney, SW15

Our group meets monthly, on the second Tuesday of each month. How often do you intend to come along?

Hopefully as regularly as I can.

Hi, I am new to London and would like to start a new year in a new place with that what I long wanted to do -- read and talk about all those books that I have been planning to read for ages. I am looking forward to future meet-ups.
