The second play this summer at the Soldiers and Sailors Monument off Riverside Drive is Oscar Wilde's comedy The Importance of Being Earnest. It's a ridiculous play and if you don't laugh, it's time to have the doctor check your funny bone!
The play begins at 6:30 but as the actors are not miked I strongly encourage you to arrive by 6 o'clock for a seat towards the front. (Seat cushions are provided.) I will be there at 5:45. Dinner/snack afterwards at a place nearby for those interested.
The show is free but be cool and throw a few dollars ($5-10) in the hat at the end to support Hudson Warehouse. http://hudsonwarehouse.net/season.htm
