Fly-In Brunch to Columbia (O22) Muni Airport.

Pilots and friends. On Thursday, June 6, 2013, I'm planning to take a couple of my "never been in a small plane" co-workers on their first Cessna flight. Since I wanted to fly them someplace scenic with great food.  Only one place came to mind - Columbia State Park.

The plan is to have my passengers on-board, briefed and in the air by 1000 hours. Fly direct to Columbia; tie down and walk the short distance to Patty's Shack for a late breakfast or early lunch. When we're done, I plan to walk off my food by visiting the beautiful, small and quaint town of Columbia. After a lookie loo, I'm heading down the hill and back to the airport for the trip home. My guess is, the total trip time will be around 4 hours.

Sometime in the next few weeks, I'll post a meet-up time so we can meet at the FBO and walk to the restaurant as a group.

FREE Root beer floats for everyone attending!

Thanks Jae. Mark's okay but, I already got my "special squak code" and freq from FSS and NorCal since TCY is part of the TFR tomorrow night. Pretty cool to do and I can't wait to put it on video.

Just a side note. If you haven't eaten at Patty's Shack, not only are you in for a great meal but, you better come hungry. I'm sure Jae and Roland will agree.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
