Brunch @ Nancy's Airport Cafe, Willows (KWLW)

Well, it's been on my mind so, it's time to "Git-R-Done!" I'm planning a trip to Willows, Ca (KWLW) to have lunch at Nancy's Airport Cafe.

According to every pilot that's ever eaten there and according to over 66 reviewers on Yelp (http://www.yelp.com/biz/nancys-airport-cafe-willows-2), Nancy's, even though its some distance from TCY is supposed to be "one of the BEST" Fly-In Airport Cafe joints to dine at.

I'm planning on departing from the central valley around 8'ish on the morning of February 16, 2014 but, that date and time are NOT written in stone.  The date and time may change depending on the weather and other variables.

Bookmark your calendars for the 16th and join me for what should be a great brunch.

Got there early but heard all of you on the radio as we departed . Great food. We need hats or something to identify who is part of the group when we all meet up.

Okay group. Just got the latest FSS update done. Tomorrow at 1000 hrs (PST) when I plan to depart, it's VFR with +8 vis. Layers are (SCK) rpt: BKN/050, SCR/FL250. Gets better heading into SMF area. Winds werent avail beyond 1200z but briefer did say nothing popped up. The afternoon, around the time we would be departing looks better than the morning. I have a Bluetooth headset hooked to my phone [masked]) and I'll be monitoring[masked] if anyone's in the air around the time I depart. Don't forget to file your flight plans folks and we'll see you at Nancy's around 11ish.

I'm still in china. I'm going to miss this one. Sucks cause my plane's registration just came in from the faa and I haven't flown in months while it was expired. I'll meet u guys when I'm back.

FYI. I called Nancy's a few days ago and made reservations for 1130 am. Should give those midnight creepers and late morning sleepers (like me) a chance to get motivated and eventually, in the air a bit later on Sunday.

We have flown all the way up there just to get a strawberry cream pie for a neighborhood BBQ. Definitely save room for dessert. It's the best part!

That is like a $312.33 strawberry cream pie. Those have better be some great berries!
