Wings Over Wine Country Air Show @ KSTS

The Wings Over Wine Country Air Show is presented by the Pacific Coast Air Museum (PCAM) as a family-friendly community event. The air show is held at the Charles M. Schulz - Sonoma County Airport on the third weekend in August each year. It is a fundraiser for PCAM as well as for several other nonprofit organizations including Scout Troops, the Civil Air Patrol, and the 99s. In 2012, the air show was attended by over 20,000 guests.

Wings Over Wine Country began in 1990, when 21 enthusiastic historic airplane "buffs" attended the Pacific Coast Air Museum Open House at the Sonoma County Airport. More showed up every year, and the Open House became an air show in 1997 when it moved to the South Ramp of the airport and hosted its first aerial performer, famed aviatrix Amelia Reid, in her Cessna 150 Aerobat. In 2008, the air show moved to the airport ramp north of the Horizon Airlines terminal where it is currently held each year. It is now the premier aviation event in California's North Coast area, and one of the best overall in Northern California
