This was my second time and I enjoyed this one way more than the first one. We were allowed to spread out. The first event had us packed into a back room and the volume of people speaking made it hard to have a conversation. This one was perfect.

Venue was too small which led to a room too hot for comfort. It felt like the bar scene when I was single. It was impossible to identify “angel investors” which was the meetup’s objective. Our firm seeks great IT startups with products ready for market. In summary, not a meetup I would attend again unless changes were made. I did like the separate room, but it was on the opposite side of where I ended up having conversations (close to the bar).
    Recommendations:
Larger venue with expansion outdoors or adequate HVAC.
Name tags like Firsty - to identify investors, entrepreneurs, service providers, etc.

Well attended and I met many interested and energized folks. There are a few opportunities I gained to do some business as well.

The venue was great, the "speakers" very informational, the overall attendance and meetup were great! The mix of the different groups was perfect and made for a great mix of people. I plan on highly recommending to others!

Awesome! Warm welcome to the newest 106ers.
So, looks like 106ers coming from all directions - LA, the Inland Empire and as far down as San Diego. Feel free to post your carpool / rideshare intentions here. Great way to make new friends and to make the drive enjoyable.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
