Introduction
I am writer, new to the world of fiction. I have one project finished, and quite a few others in the works. Looking forward to communing with other writers who share this same passion.
We have all types of writers in our group! What kind of writing do you do? (Poems, Fiction, Non-fiction, Articles, Blogs, etc.)
Poetry and Fiction
Some days it's tough to stick with it... what motivates you to keep writing?
Boredom...just kidding! I like getting lost in that other world and when I am the narrator, the storyteller, then what happens is up to me. That's exciting! Everyone listens to me and does exactly what I tell them! Who would want that? (enter coy grin here)
Have you ever been published before, or are you just getting started in the writing world?
I am in the gray area between dying to get published and actual publication. So the answer is no, not yet.
To help us keep our group informative and useful, please tell us what do you hope to gain from joining our group?
Just the convergence of like minds is what I seek. I have previously been a member of a poetry group and it forced me to step outside of my fear (even if only for a moment) and that was a triumphant occasion for me. We all need a push or little fire lit under us, maybe this can be that.

Oh. The days I wrote a thousand words (from Aug to Dec) 99,000 with some extra days beyond that which would give me a couple more thousand approx. Wow! That is a novel. Maybe that should be my daily goal. Thanks so much. This gives me a whole new perspective on how to approach my novels.
