Excited to have heard about this event before it actually happens this time! Looking forward to it and meeting new twitter friends :)
Look forward to meeting and catching up with fellow social media lovers. My first #140conf meetup ;-)) @EpicSkin -If you'd like to connect prior.
Looking forward to this event. The JaraUniversity.com is rolling through. Love meeting new folks. @swodeck
i'm feeling the big Mo building
I have a freebie to offer my fellow #140conf at the LA meetup - if you work for or with a 501c3 nonprofit and need to issue a press release by 6/30, I will put it over PR Web for you for free ($380 on their site) No strings attached, I just love helping causes. You have to write it though! You must be attending this 5/10 meetup too - cannot extend this to everyone out there. I run a cause marketing agency and do the big charity auctions you may see on eBay. More on us at www.auctioncause.com
Eric Gazin: I am on the board of the Teddy Bear Cancer Foundation and I'm co-host of this event. I would like to take you up on that offer please. Teddy Bear provides financial assistance and programs for families of kids with cancer. www.teddybearcancerfoundation.org

The stars finally aligned and I'm attending my first #140conf!! So looking forward to meeting everyone behind the avatars :) Also, looking for OC carpool partners, anyone else? Plz tweet me @carolhink
Eric Gazin, that's an amazing offer. I'd like to take you up on it on behalf of NextAid.org. We're about to launch an auction tomorrow for fundraising for NextAid?s projects promoting and implementing sustainable solutions to the challenges facing African children: the Kawangware Vision Center in Kenya and the goGogetters program in South Africa. You can reach me at bonnie at bonniepowers .com Thank you for the generosity!

See you tonight! These are great events, i encourage participation...
Oh, there's a great 80s Metal / Comedy show at House of Blues, it starts around 11:30pm tho... Steel Panther. Lots of celebs jump on stage with them.. its usually pretty funny, a little raunchy.

Can't wait for the meetup tonight. It's gonna be a blast! @mtnsurfer
Hey Eric, What is the earliest time we can arrive tonight? And can you provide more deets on where to park. Thanks @Partyaficionado
We are so excited to be participating. Can't wait to meet all of you tonight! - Sarah @theviperroom
Very much looking forward to seeing everyone tonight! Here's some photos from December's #140conf Meetup LA.
I heard that there's parking across from the venue. I'll be arriving early just so I can park. -@sbeasla
Looking forward to meeting everyone tonight! Thanks for the parking tip. :)
I think it's $10 to park in the lot across the street -@sbeasla
Hey everyone! I was telling Sukhraj the other day that when I do events on the Sunset Strip I normally park at the 9000 bldg (it is in big blue numbers), there is also a small lot right next to that one as well. The cost runs between $7-$15 depending on the night, but because it is Monday night which is Steel Panther at The Key Club, it will likely be crowded & cost between $10-$15. If you get to town early enough you can park in the Rainbow or Roxy parking lot for $7, but it is very small.
There's a link at the end of these emails to turn them off, FYI
Sorry to miss it. Planned to make it but client work caught up to me.
Looking forward to it- @iSnuggleapp
Enjoyed myself immensely. What a relief to meet voices in the twittercommunity with a sense of responsibility, care and interest in helping others. KUDOS!
What a FANTASTIC meetup! Thank you Jeff, Eric, Yahoo, ComedyStore and all the guest speakers, for making this event happen, and most of all, thanks to ALL OF YOU for attending and making this the LARGEST #140conf meetup to date! Looking forward to continuing to connect with all the new folks I met last night on Twitter and Facebook. #RockTheMooMoo #SPANDEX FTW! ;)
It was great seeing so many people at my first Meetup. It was great to finally meet you @jeffpulver!
Very much enjoyed the presentations especially by @SimonMainwaring, @angelashelton @krupali Do wish I had more time to say hello to so many wonderful peeps at Comedy Club where it was well lit, easy to talk. Thanks for the wifi! Thank you to @JeffPulver and @EricGreenspan for keeping this going. Note to self for next time - if the after-party venue doesn't have food, make sure to check with the cool kids to see where they are going next OR FourSquare. They will be at a venue with food.
Great talks by @krupali and @angelashelton. So nice to finally meet @jessicagottlieb, see @jeffrago from a distance, and dine with so many others. I may just get into this foursquare thing yet! It's a weird little community, but it's a community. For someone who is fascinated by community and how to create and engage one, I feel honored to have been so quickly invited in. #grateful
Thank You @JeffPulver @EricGreenspan for such a wonderful event! It was great IRL hugging awesome LA friends and enjoy sushi and sake with @JulieSpira @skydiver @adventuregirl @mayhemstudios and many other cool peeps! Love You! :D
WOW what a blast & great tweeps! Kudos to Eric and the sponsors and @jeffpulver for putting on such a great event. Loved all the speakers and great networking, too. For me the most moving and exciting part was the central focus on using your voice in social media to make a difference. We even got to see it in action right before our eye w/ @krupali. LOVED it!!
Wonderful presentations, although I would I liked a bit more mingling-networking (ming-netting?) time. @itsdifferent4girls Yes, we were at a place with food ;)
I agree with R. Jean Roth more netlinging (mingling & networking) would have been better viper room was too small and no food. I enjoyed the Comedy Store wish we didn't have to leave there great venue with lots of room
I'd be interested to get specific insights around how emerging prestige brands are successfully using social media. Not just broadcasting latest promotions or product launches, but creating loyal evangelists and customers. Higher price points and merchandise that may require more of a brand experience adds a different level of complexity than say the latest new age vitamin loaded drink or free cup o joe for becoming a fan. Anyone have some good cases to refer or review? Many tx! @birdsofafeather
Thanks to everyone who made the event successful. The speakers were great, crowd great, ViperRoom entertaining but not good for networking, but break-out dinners were. @ToddZebert @GuideNetworking
Congratulations and thank you @jeffpulver @ericgreenspan @makeitwork @yahoo @TheComedyStore for an amazing evening of friendship and inspiration. @SimonMainwaring @angelashelton @krupali you showed us how we can change lives, one tweet at a time. I consider you all my extended family.
@JulieSpira
Thanks to @ericgreenspan @jeffpulver & everyone that made it possible. Amazing learnings, powerful stories & genuinely passionate people. Can't wait for the next event!
