Have you bagged a 14er before?

Yes, all of them. My finishers were Maroon Peak and N Maroon Peak in August & September 2014! Now climbing the Centennial 13ers in[masked]

What was the most difficult 14er you have done? Why?

El Diente via the North Buttress on 8-21-13. Just 3 mi RT from Navajo Lake but it's a very steep and challenging climb to the top of a tiny summit... a very interesting climb! Mt Wilson on[masked] via Kilpacker Basin TH was also quite gnarly!

What was your most enjoyable 14er to summit? Why?

Pyramid Peak on[masked]! Perfect weather day on a tough but spectacular mountain and amazing 360 views with full Fall colors-spectacular!

Which 14er was your least favorite? Why?

Bross - boring and the down climb back to Kite Lake was a near free-fall down a very steep scree filled trail.

Caught the fever '12 and did 26 14ers that yr. Completed all of them Sep '14 - Maroon Bells ended up being my Finishers due to weather. Have climbed 11 Centennial 13ers so far in 2015!

What Michael K. is saying about this Meetup Group

Love it - people to share conversation, experiences. Great site to meet other "crazies" who love climbing Colorado's amazing mountains. Three "epic" (overnight) July trips planned this summer: Kit Carson, Mt of the Holy Cross and Capitol Peak. Looking for others to join us!
