151 Locust founder Ed Rieker is an Atlanta-based serial entrepreneur who has been the founder or co-founder of several successful Atlanta-based startup companies. Two of which were acquired by public companies. He has served on the staff of the Advanced Technology Development Center (ATDC) as a Venture Catalyst, is currently serving as an Entrepreneur in Residence at ATDC and holds weekly office hours available by appointment.

Mr. Rieker is a co-inventor of the 1998 patent for an "Automated System and Method for Providing Real-Time Verification of Health Insurance Eligibility." He received his MBA from the Goizueta Business School at Emory University.

He is also the current Mayor of Avondale Estates, Georgia where he lives with his wife and daughter.
