ATDC/151 Locust – Mobile Technology Startup Circle

What:

Eat, drink and be mobile with your fellow ATL Mobile Technology startups. Even in the mobile startup world, it’s good to sit down face-to-face with your peers and discuss issues to get/give help to your fellow entrepreneurs.

There must be a significant mobile technology component in your business model to attend these meetings. Please absolutely no service providers. This is not a sales networking opportunity.

Hosted by 151 Locust founder and ATDC Executive in Residence, Ed Rieker.

When:

4th Tuesday of every month at noon. If you register for the event we’ll provide you with snacks, drinks and a napkin.

It was wonderful to meet everyone! I wanted to share something cool that I found. We had talked about how to display the video output of the iPhone onto the computer monitor so it'd be possible to show someone the app via webex, gotomeeting or join.me

Several people mentioned using a cable and while searching for that, I found a utility called Reflector (http://www.airsquirrels.com/reflector/) for $12.99 that you can do it wirelessly using AirPlay. How cool is that?

What a great way to demo apps!

    See you guys next time!

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
