Startup Riot 2013 - 151 Locust - Perfect Pitch Practice Sessions

Presenters only! No service providers.

Yes, one of our absolute favorite events is just right around the corner: Startup Riot 2013. (link to If you are planning on presenting, or even attending, then its time to get ready and make your pitch perfect.

151 Locust is going to host a series of Startup Riot 2013 - 151 Perfect Pitch Practice Sessions leading up to the February, 2013 Startup Riot event. Come and try out your Startup Riot 2013 presentation at 151 Locust and get some great feedback and practice from your peers and a panel of experts.

Even if your company isn't presenting at Startup Riot you need to nail your quick pitch. It's the key to everyone understanding exactly who you are and your place in the market.

This is a workshop so please come prepared to work on your pitch and to see others do the same. Lots of successful Atlanta startups have used these session to improve their presentations.
You are encouraged to bring your laptop or flash drive with your presentation ready to go. If you don't have a laptop available, you may email your presentation ahead of time.

Presenters only! No service providers.

Here are the specifics for Startup Riot 2013 and the link. The most important part of your application is providing a 4 slide presentation and a 3 minute presentation that goes with those slides. This would essentially be an initial run of what you would present at Startup Riot. Rules for the slides: * First slide is company name and presenters name and other contact info - can't use this slide for "real" information * Next three slides are all up to you but we suggest VERY few words and LARGE type (48+ point preferably) * More visual slides will mean more focus on your talk/idea and not your slides. * No animation, music, sound, or fanciness for your slides. If you are selected your slides will be converted to plain PDF so keep that in mind.

Yep, it's $10.00 to register. We got tired of some people registering for all the free events and then not showing up after we thought they would. This way if they don't show up now then they at least chipped in for the goodies. If you attend the event and you don't feel like you received your $10 worth, tell us and we will gladly refund your money.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
