PHOENIX SCI-FI/HORROR MOVIE GROUP

Come join the biggest and best valley movie group and meet other local film buffs every Tuesday night who share an interest in classic and cheezy sci-fi films from the 1950's and 1960's. From The Blob to Forbidden Planet,and everything in between. Trailers from that period will also be included. This was an era of paranoia in America with the H-Bomb and the fear of a communist takeover. Because of that fear,(and drive-in theaters) studios cashed in. Sci-fi became more high-tech and graphic in the seventies and eighties, but one could argue that they were not as much fun. Come see for yourself. The Pailsey Violin cafe has some great food you could order while you watch the films. Admission to the film is free.
