FEBRUARY 5TH: We had a very good time. A smaller gathering of 8 players on 4 boards-I suspected a lower turn-out due to the Superbowl. We have a very good mix of strong and beginning players. Amy had never played before, and Omid was very patient in teaching her the basics, opening moves and she even played her first game!! We nurture our newcomers.
