13th Annual Orlando Wetlands Festival

For the 13th year, Orange Audubon Society (OAS) will co-sponsor (with the City of Orlando) the Orlando Wetlands Festival at Ft. Christmas Park.

This is a fantastic (free) annual festival, celebrating the annual reopening of Orlando Wetlands Park to visitation. Thousands of birders and nature-loving families and youth groups come out for the bus tours, bird or wildflower walks, bird banding, nature exhibits and other activities. City of Orlando gives away trees. Florida Native Plant Society is there selling plants. And it is a wonderful time to visit the incredible Orlando Wetlands Park.

See the festival website for more details at www.cityoforlando.net/public_works/wetlands/festival/index.htm

The count was 4000 people in attendance, including families and children. Orange Audubon Society is so glad to be able to partner with the City of Orlando in this wonderful annual festival.

Once again a great time was had by all. On the bird walks led by Orange Audubon folks, 53 species were seen.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
