Baby Owl Shower

The Baby Owl Shower is today!

This is a once a year opportunity to see the baby owls, that normally are kept away from public view. It's always fun to tour the Audubon Center for Birds of Prey and see what's new also.

See the Audubon Florida's website on the shower and bring needed items.

The wish list is now posted. If you don't have any of the listed items, just bring a donation:

Orange Audubon Society will be there. Please stop and say hi and pick up a membership brochure. We would love to have you as an official member.

Sorry if I portrayed it incorrectly. Normally babies (orphans) are kept in the back rooms (nurseries), so seeing any is a treat. Hope you liked the Center for Birds of Prey.

Thanks, Deborah..... I'm looking forward to this event. I have been to the Birds of Prey Rehab center out in Apopka, but never to the one in Maitland. Looking forward to photographing the baby birds!

Hi Mayra, It's a chance to see the baby raptors at the Center for Birds of Prey. Normally they are hidden from view in the incubator rooms. You can also tour the whole Center, which is really great. Bring a donation and things that they might need for baby raptors like paper towels. I'll post more information closer to the time.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
