Guest Speaker - Jonathan T. Weaver
A Principal of Peak Performers, Jonathan has been involved in sales and consulting for 18 years. His current capacity has him both President of the live seminar program & “Mentor” in the Sales & Marketing Tune Up division of Peak Performers.
Jonathan has a proven record of increasing client’s sales by as much as 300% by leading them through a proven series of steps that help crystallize a sales and marketing business plan that leverages the EXISTING strengths of the client and either grows their current market share or opens new markets for the client.
Most recently – Jonathan applied his proven formula to raising money for Ronald McDonald House Charities… Jonathan and his wife Cathie embarked on a year long tour that set a world record and raised more than $400,000 for the Charity.
Jonathan’s introduction to sales came through the Scott and Fetzer Corporation and their direct to consumer marketing program. Jonathan entered their program as an independent agent and left the organization after successfully completing the Area Distribution program with a team of 30 reporting to him.
In 1991 Jonathan entered the Business to Business sales arena with the deregulation of Long Distance in Ontario. This foray into the blossoming Telecom Market had Jonathan introducing his ideas and concepts to both telecom carriers and hardware distributors. Jonathan was able to help sales teams reorganize their approach to the market with significant results. His work with Northern Telecom Distributors in Ontario led to his becoming the Norstar Direct Sales Manager for Alberta for TTS Meridian Systems. In 1994 AGT (Alberta Government Telephone) discontinued selling hardware and awarded the base to TTS. Jonathan was recruited to, and was successful in, turning a money-losing first year for TTS’ Norstar Sales team into an above target sales and above target margin sales team.
Jonathan subsequently returned to Ontario, did work in the Audio Visual Rental market, Delivered successful programs for NEC distributors and a software company before getting involved with Peak Performers.
