The parking lot is at 382 E Mountain Rd Hillsborough, NJ. Look for black Honda CRV.

Is there a specific parking lot or trail head to arrive?

I'm only aware of one myself and that is right off CR601.

No snow at the area. The hike will go on. I may be late 15 minutes, so we will start hike at 1:15pm.

To anyone interested, I'll be arriving a bit early (probably 10ish) with crash pads to do some bouldering (given the weather holds out). Look for a silver Hyundai Elantra with a zombie sticker.

The trail is snowy and a little icy at parts, but the boulders are dry. I'll be there around ten with my crash pad and microspikes. My # is [masked]

Sara, it barely snowed here last night. I'm sure some we can find some good dry climbs if you still want to.

Hi, I am new to hiking, is this trail for experienced ones only? what do I have to bring along?

This is an easy trail, but it is tough when snow cover. If we still go, you need proper clothing for hiking in winter, water proof hiking boot, traction device, snack/food and water/drink.

I'm down for it next Saturday is it's rescheduled. I would do it snow or shine too, but have other commitments tomorrow. I've ran these trails plenty of times as well. Even if you get lost, it's easy to find your way back.

Well it looks like we won't be climbing tomorrow morning if it's snowing tonight, but I'm doing the hike at one even if it's snowing. I think it will be more fun in the snow. I know I'm probably jinxing myself when I say this, but I've run the trails enough times not to get lost.

On weather.com, the forecast is snowing whole day tomorrow. If it still snowing at 10am, I will postpone the hike to next week. Please check back here before you leave.

Current forecast is 1"-3" snow overnight tonight. You will need water proof hiking boot and gaiter. Traction device like microspike is prefer for your safety. Last Saturday I hiked here after winter storm Nemo and almost lost, because the trail does not has proper trail mark to follow. It is no problem on clear ground, but when the ground is snow cover, it is impossible to follow the trail. We may have to cut the hike short depend on the trail condition.

This sounds like fun! Are regular tennis shoes ok or do we need hiking boots?
