If you plan to go for pizza afterwards then please only bring cash $, as per our Policy page, to avoid complicated splitting of transactions onto numerous cards.
Some of us have hiked here before. It's mostly flat with trails in woods, meadow, and near a lake. Weather permitting, we will do about 2+ hr of walking. If it's cold or windy, we can shorten the walk. We will also visit their small Environmental Education Center (a few critters in tanks, cages, aquariums), Gift Shop, and restrooms.
Arrive at 10:45am to group up in parking lot. We will begin hiking at 11:00am. Dress for Autumn weather and lake breezes. I recommend wearing waterproof hiking shoes or old shoes you don't care about, because some trail sections can be sloppy.
