Several people have recommended this book to me, and from what little I've read about it, it's as topical now as ever; exploring themes of immigration, worker's rights, humane treatment of animals, and food safety.

If enough people RSVP "Yes" then we'll meet for a book club discussion on the date shown. But I'm not sure how many bookworms we have in the Group, so if there are insufficient "Yes" RSVPs then I'll cancel. So don't be shy - if interested then RSVP "Yes." If this book club meeting is well-attended then maybe we can get book club events rolling on a regular basis.
