Hello and Welcome!!

This fun, and very friendly social group is only for those aged 20-35 - nothing against those older than this! I already have a lot of older friends you see, so decided to start this group so that I could meet people my own age and form more relevant friendships.

I'm not a huge party animal so this group is for those that are interested in relaxed drinks or tea/coffee meets, shopping trips, movies, London markets, exploring London in general (especially museums, "one-off" quirky/special event type things, and tourist spots that one often takes for granted), exhibitions (I go to loads of these!), dinners, picnics and lots more.

Most of my events tend to be limited to a small number of people so that everyone can get to know each other properly and it keeps things manageable for me as organiser. The overall aim is to create a friendly community of like-minded people with a love for actually getting out and doing things!

A bit about myself: I'm a fun positive person who loves exploring London and meeting new people, hence the group! I live in the amazing East End and am loving it, I'm always out and about soaking up the local fashion, food, art and music scenes. If you're a fellow East Londoner then give me a shout.

Meetup charges organiser's a subscription fee to host a group on their site which is why there will sometimes be a small charge for events, this keeps the subscription running.

To become a member of this group you will need to have a recent profile photo [I need to know what you look like in order to spot you at events!] and write a bit about yourself in the "introduction" section of your profile area. As this group's content is private, only the other members will be able to see your picture so you do not need to worry about this.

Note: I'm big on things like lateness and "no shows" and do remove people from the group for this - keeps the group dynamics fun. You will be removed from the group if you "no show" twice or give any other cause to do so such as constant lateness etc - you have been warned!! Those types of people make lousy friends and kinda defeat the aims of the group ;)

Just a few more little rules for you to take note of to keep things quality:

- No "maybe" RSVP's - this is not helpful to me as an organiser! A simple yes or no only please.

- Happy, friendly, positive folk only!

- Guests will usually be permitted as long as you include them in your RSVP.
