I had a great time. I've never kayaked before so it was a new experience for me. And what a great experience it was! I will definitely be returning to Discover Kayak. KC was an awesome instructor.

Is there anything we need to bring or wear other than swim gear?

    1 · September 7, 2013

    • kc

Umm wear comfortable clothes that u dont mind getting wet and doesn't restrict your motion. It doesn't have to be swimwear. A pair of dry clothes just in case you do a wet exit.
Some sunscreen and fluids is good it could get hot.
most important dont wear flip flops or sneakers with laces or any footwear with loops. Sandals vibram shoes water shoes are all good.

    Hey All,
You should be able to find Meadowmere park (3000 Meadowmere lane, Grapevine TX) or "Kimball Ave and Meadowmere Lane" . Once you get into the park look for a trailer with boats with "discoverkayak" sign.

Parking: Park entrance is $5.00 or you can park outside and walk into park.

I will be there quiet early, so feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

    See you guys on Sunday
