Oh, and if you're already RSVP'd to Anyone Can Join's museum event, then please do not double RSVP yourself to this one. Thanks!
Saturday, February 18, activities from 11AM – 3PM, free admission all day
Enjoy free admission at the February Family Day celebrating Latino culture! Be one of the first to visit Bittersweet Harvest: The Bracero Program, 1942–1964, a bilingual exhibit created by the Smithsonian. Videos, children’s activities, gallery talks, and other exciting entertainment will take place throughout the day to celebrate the opening of Bittersweet Harvest. Families are invited to talk with representatives from local Latino organizations who will be hosting information tables in the OHS Pavilion. Children will love to take a swing at our piñata at noon, and then enjoy a tasty cupcake to celebrate Oregon’s birthday week!

The Oregon Historical Society will be having a free admission and family day. A great event for all the history lovers out there.
I'm expecting Anyone Can Join's meetup group will be here at the same time, so let's meet in front of the gift shop at 11am. I'll be hanging out by the gift shop until 11:30am. I'll have a Meetup sign for the group to make it easier to find me. I will update at the event if the meeting spot ends up being too crowded.
Afterwards, I'll be leaving the museum and heading over to Kingston Bar & Grill (2021 SW Morrison St, Portland, OR 97205) at 1:30pm if anyone wants to have lunch after the museum. I have a curfew at 4pm, so I'm only gonna be hanging out at Kingston until 3:30pm.
Front of the seats by gift shops.
