Hi Aalia, this is not a cooking class, so we won't be needing help with the prep. It's an Earth Day event with a presentation, dinner, & African drumming. The food is not as healthy as it is in the classes ~ it's more like vegan "party food." I'm afraid there's going to be very little you can eat besides the black, corn, & red pepper salad and the butternut squash & pear soup. Can you eat tomato sauce? Maybe we can sautee a portabello mushroom and put spinach and tomato sauce on it?
Hi Aalia, Could you please send me an e-mail or call me? It's a bit cumbersome trying to have a dialogue on a website. I tried sending you an e-mail, but it came back to me. Neither the pine nuts nor the raw cashews are vacuum-packed, and I don't even know where I could find them vacuum-packed, so I'm afraid the lasagne's going to be out for you. I'm sorry.
Hi Aalia, Hope you had a nice time in Florida! All the details are posted with the event announcement: presentation is from 5:00 - 6:00 PM, and dinner is from 6:15 - 7:00. Araba-Lon starts at 7:00 PM. I've forgotten ~ Are you able to eat nuts? I'm planning to make cashew ricotta and pine nut cream for the lasagna. I can set aside a separate plate without the lasagne pasta if you'd like. Take care and I look forward to seeing you on Sunday! Louisa
Hi Aalia, I received your message but there wasn't an option to "Reply." Please let me know whether or not you can tolerate BRAGG amino acids, because I usually use it in just about everything as a salt substitute. Someone else is coming who also can't eat seitan, so I was wondering if the two of you might like to saute a couple of big, portobello mushrooms instead? Don't worry about the arrival of the checks. Please e-mail me directly at [masked] or call me at 729-0248, okay?

Hi Aalia,
I believe for now I am staying in Texas, however some future maps show that the part of Texas I live in will not be here. I am just not sure that what is going on is about about endings but a chance at a new life. ;-)
