Introduction

Hey all: My name's Charlie McPherson. I'm twenty-two years old, an electrician, and a newbie to Utah (I come from Philadelphia and moved out this way two years ago). I'm looking forward to meeting you all; hope to see you soon!

What are somethings you are interested in?

Well...anything outdoors: hiking, camping, kayaking, rock-climbing, soccer, basketball. I like martial arts, music of all stripes, driving to new places, exploring the city, outdoor concerts, impromptu jam sessions, coffeehouse B.S.ing, anything that doesn't involve the phrase "well, why don't we just chill at home?'

Why would you like to be part of this group?

As I mentioned in my introduction, I'm pretty new to Utah and have had a hard time meeting people lately. It's been tough finding friends since I came out to Utah. I don't understand why, but many people my age I meet are closed off socially and won't really interact with anyone, which is actually incrediby frustrating. I know the restless, youthful spirit of curiosity and enthusiasm is still out there. I'm just trying to find some people who still have it.
