Dick Gregory Lecture @ SLU

St. Louis University presents, “The World According to Dick Gregory: An Evening of Humor and Humanity” as their Black History Month’s Keynote speaker.

The comedian activist was born in St. Louis, MO.

According to their website:  http://www.slu.edu/x57504.xml

“Mr. Gregory speaks the truth about racism, sexism, and violence in America.  Mr. Gregory's candor, combined with his world-class political satire and humor, makes him one of the most highly sought lecturers year after year. Mr. Gregory has become the conscience of America, who has come to cleanse this country's soul of racism and the vestiges of slavery.”

Inducted to the St. Louis Walk of Fame in 5/21/1995.

We can meet for dinner before, if you like, and then head over to SLU as a group. Doors open at 6:30, so let’s plan to meet for dinner 5:30p. When you RSVP choose between Chuy Arzola’s (on Lindell) or Feasting Fox (on Grand). We will make definitive plans on which location closer to the date. Please indicate if you would be joining for dinner in your RSVP.

The lecture is a FREE event.

Change of dinner plans turned out to be a pleasant surprise of new Mexican to try. Very entertaining lecture from Dick Gregory.
