A few members have posted great ideas. I can't be at all of them so if you want to take the lead on any let me know and I'll schedule them.

  • Baker weekend: Will need an assistant organizer for this one. I can't go for a whole weekend.

  • Whistler Telus Ski & Snowboard festival. I'll put up a poll in a couple of weeks to see who wants to go when. We may have more than 1 meetup for this one.

  • Weekday riding/skiing. Will need an assistant organizer.

I'm already an assistant organizer for another group but I wouldn't mind sharing info wink.

  • Baker weekend: don't think it's worth going up there for a whole weekend, season hasn't been that great and the weather/snow conditions are unpredictable.

  • WTSSF: I'm thinking of going there if I've got the funds, Whistler got some really good deals from the 12th to the 25 of April! http://www.whistlerbl...

  • Weekday riding: I'll mention or tell Aaron when ever I'm going up but peeps can always contact me too if they want to go riding for a couple of hours. I'm free 24/7 and I've got a pass for Cypress and Grouse. I'm planning to go to Grouse this Friday do some runs and take photos of the Oakley Night Jam.

There are some deals out there for Whistler Ski and Snowboard Fest. Here's a link to Whistler's website with specials for the event.

OK so maybe some of us could stay a couple nights at the South Side Lodge hostel in Whistler for the Telus Festival?
What days would you guys like to go?
I would like to stay over at least 2 nights.
If the weather is poor then we could check out more bands and do some exploring around town?
Does anyone have a better suggestion for affordable accomodations that are right on the hill?

I was hoping someone who had actually been to whistler and had some knowledge of the town layout would plan the accomodations? Note: I would like to book accomodations really soon so it won't be full-up.

Hey Criss, Southside Lodge is at Creekside which is a little bit away from the main area in Whistler. I'm in. I was going to ask some time off from work so I could go during the week. Not sure if I can get the time off but will find out this coming week. I'll do some research on acc.

Whister Info: Ok if there is something cheaper in the village that would be fine. Although 30-35/night is fairly cheap accomodations, even if we have to drive to the village at night.

You're right I did some digging and that's good. Not sure when I can take off from work. Really want to go during the week but may have to plan for a weekend trip. I'm def interested in going overnight.
