Introduction
I recently moved to the DC area and started my career. I am looking forward to getting to know both people and what the area has to offer. I have come to enjoy wine and would love to learn a lot more about it and share my new passion with others.
How old are you?
I am a 25 year old young professional. I tend to be overly mature for my age however, for better or worse.
What is your favorite type of wine?
Currently my favorite type of wine is Riesling. Two of my favorites are the Eroica Riesling (Chateau St. Michelle) and Seebrich's Riesling. At this point I drink mostly whites but am learning more about reds slowly.
What type of wine events are you interested in attending?
I would love attend wine tastings, pairing dinners, or any other event in which I can broaden my knowledge and experience more wines.
Do you have any specific suggestions for places to hold an event (e.g. a particular wine bar, restaraunt, festival, winery, happy hour)?
I am new to the area so I do not currently know of any places, however that is one of the things I am hoping to get a grasp on through this group.
Would you be interested in eventually hosting an event at a place of your choosing (happy hour, wine bar, etc)?
Absolutely! Once I get my feet on the ground I would love to host an event. I want to become very involved and can't think of a better way to do so.
