Introduction:
Our founder decided to start this group because she enjoyed wine and want to get to know other people in their 20s & 30s that like wine too. It worked! Since getting started in April 2010, we have attended 250 tastings, wineries, dinners, festivals, happy hours, parties, and almost any other idea, as long as it somehow involves wine, with many more planned!
We look for a great mix of men and women in their 20s & 30s - single, married, couples, just friends, it doesn't matter - that want to meet new people and enjoy good wine (and occasionally beer or cocktails too). Members range through all levels of experience with wine, so don't be scared if you are new to wine or consider yourself an expert!

Our Wine Lovers Events:
Events are held throughout the DC, Virginia and Maryland areas, even as far as Delaware, PA and West Virginia! Although we have well over 900 members in the group, the events typically remain smaller (20s-30s Going Out Group we are not!). Happy hours might have between 15-35 people while winery trips might have just 10-15. Brunches, dinners and other special events are often limited to 8-12 people. All we ask is that people enjoy time with other like-minded wine lovers!
Our Rules for Joining:
You must use your real name (first name ok) and have a *photograph* of you (not your pet or scenery) to join - this helps the event organizer when we are trying to meet you at events.
Do not join if you plan on RSVPing and then not showing up! If you are a No Show 3 times, we reserve the right to remove you from the group.
Lastly, be respectful of all members, just be cool, please!
