Am annoyed since I read both books and actually wrote down notes.
Hope they feel better!
It was good to see you Karen!

I really wish I could have made this one, I am currently experiencing why Jules Verne is amazing. First it was "Around the world in 80 Days", now "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea". and I will finish with "Journey to the Center of the Earth".
I had a great time at the meetup. Thanks for organizing this! Looking forward to seeing you all again next month!

I just completed BNW (this was a second read for me, first time was 5 years ago). It was far more powerful this time around.

I 100% agree - I definitely didn't get as much out of it the first time I read it.

Do other nights work better for you? Maybe we can try an alternate day for the next meetup...

I really only have Tuesday night free until May.
BNW is really good! I can't stop reading it!
Can we come if we only read one? Or do we have to read both?

no requirements, remember I barely read Snow Crash and still showed up? Do what you can :-)

yeah good point. Okay then, I was a little more interested in Brave New World than in 1984 so I'll go with just reading that.

just went to the library to pick up Brave New World and ended up getting 1984 as well! So hopefully I'll be able to read both in time for the meet up! :)

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
