June Synopsis and July Book Recommendations

From: mark l.

Fellow bibliophiles,

Thank you to those who attended the meeting last night to discuss Brave New World by Aldous Huxley.  It was great to see some familiar faces and also nice to meet some new readers as well.  As usual it was interesting to hear your unique thoughts and interpretations of the novel.   Fortunately for us we don't have " to choose between happiness and what people used to call high art."

Please send me your suggestions for July by the end of the day today, Thursday, June 28. You can do so by replying to this email ([address removed]) or use the contact us button on the left hand side of the website (http://www.meetup.com/20s-and-30s-Book-Club).

I will set up the poll on Friday, June 29 and it will close Monday, July 2. Our next discussion is on Wednesday, July 25. Preference in book recommendations for the poll is provided to those who have attended the prior meetings.  Anyone can vote once I set up the poll.

I look forward to seeing you at the end of the month.

Warmly,

Mark
