Introduction

Hi everyone. I am excited to meet you all and your dogs. My wife and I live in University City with our 2 dogs (Scoop and Roxy)

Tell us about your dog(s)!

We adopted Scoop in April of 2010 from Labs and Friends rescue group. We are guessing he is a mix of lab/border collie/pitbull, but don't know for sure. We found our second dog, Roxie, at our local park when we were walking Scoop this April. She was being fostered in the neighborhood and they hit it off right away. We believe she is a mix of a Rottweiler and an Australian Sheppard.

What is your current favorite dog park?

We usually go to the Nobel dog park, as it is closer to our house. That won't work as well for meetups though, as they separate the large and small dog areas. We also bend up at the Ocean Beach dog beach pretty often.

What do you hope to get out of this group?

I hope to establish a community of young dog owners, giving our dogs the exercise and socialization they need while meeting more people our age.

Awesome!! We do a great one that's about 3.5 miles and moderately hilly. It's part on a dirt trail and part paved. There are a few places along the trail where the more advanced group could add in more hills/distance.
