Next month, Central New Yorkers will finally get a chance to see "Adult World," the independent movie that was shot in Syracuse last year.
The long-awaited Syracuse premiere of the film is scheduled for Sunday, October 6 at 7:30 p.m. at the Landmark Theatre. The screening will be the closing event of the 10th annual Syracuse International Film Festival, which runs from Oct. 2 through Oct. 6.
Tickets for "Adult World" go on sale this Friday for $20 each through Ticketmaster and the Landmark box office. Remaining tickets will be available at a special price of $35 for two at the door on the day of the show. AARP members can get a discounted price of $15 for advance tickets or $25 for two at the door.
A pre-event party will also be held at the Landmark Theatre starting at 6 p.m. Tickets are $40 each -- or $75 for two at the door only --and include food, beverage, admission to the movie and a complimentary 10th anniversary wine glass.
Thanks to Jenn for the suggestion.
