20s and 30s Hiking Around Maryland offers local hikes that meet on the weekends. These hikes are generally from 2-4 miles and easy to moderate.  There are some hikes that will be moderate-difficult to difficult, so please check the skill level of a hike before you RSVP.

Also, given the fact that many of our hikes now have waiting lists, we've started a new NO-SHOW policy.  If you RSVP for a hike with a waiting-list, but do not show-up, you will be moved to the waiting list for the next hike you join.

I'd prefer the hikes to start on time. If you are going to be late please contact the group leader, we will wait 10 minutes for you if you let us know you are on the way.

Dogs are welcome on the hikes where they are allowed. If you plan to bring your dog on a hike, please add a comment when you RSVP.

Members are encouraged to have social events for the group as well. If you have a location or event you would like to suggest for members please contact the organizer or post to the message board.

This group belongs to all the members. If you choose to organize a hike please, if necessary, state the competence level of the participants. If you RSVP to a hike please try to let the organizer know if your plans change.

Additional Assistant organizers and hike leaders are welcome and encouraged. If you are interested in planning hikes please contact the organizer to be allowed access to the calendar. You can set the parameters of the hike be it urban hike, more rigorous hikes, or weekday hikes. This group has enough members to meet the needs of everyone if those belonging are willing to take ownership of the activities.
