I went by the park this evening and there are covered picnic tables just to the east of the pavilion, visible from the parking lot. The address for the parking lot is 2300 East Walnut. The picnic table can seat about 6-8 people, so bring extra chairs if you have them. Bring some food to share and we will make a meal out of whatever we have. Looking forward to it!

Sounds good to me to meet by the pavilion and try to get those picnic tables. I'll be able to come on time after all. Looking forward to seeing you all there. As for food, I'm not sure if we are allowed to bring a portable bbq, or use the grills in the shelters that have been reserved by other people. So can everyone plan to bring a some sort of picnic food?

In looking at a park map, there are two nonreservable small picnic shelters or tables near Reichmann Pavilion. I suggest we go for those, and if they are occupied, we will just put some chairs and blankets out in the grass. So we would meet on the east side of the parking lot at Reichmann which is off Walnut Street. Does that sound okay to everyone?

Hi everyone - it turns out that the shelters at Stephens Lake Park are all reserved for Saturday evening. But, maybe we don't need a shelter - what if we just pick a place to toss down some blankets and chairs and have a picnic? We can still play the games and eat, though we shouldn't plan on access to a grill. What do you guys think? Also, I may not arrive on time due to a work trip, but I'd be happy to give someone food and blankets and join you when I can. Let me know.
