Not really. Up there in the top five would probably be Generation X or The Gum Thief by Douglas Coupland, Moby Dick, Walden, Life of a Solitude by May Sarton, and any of Willa Cather's short story collections.
The recently released uncensored Mark Twain's Autobiography. I read the censored version in college, so I've been waiting for it to come out for a few years. Now that it's out, I just need to fid the time to read it!
I've recently moved to Chicago, and am looking to fend off cabin fever during winter. I've wanted to join a book club for years, and now have the perfect reason. I'm also looking to expand my reading horizons beyond my usual comfortable standbys.
