So I know we normally just bring up books after our discussion of the current month's book, but I was catching up on some articles on NPR (I'm not denying my nerdiness) and came across this list of 3 books I thought I'd share. Let me know if you guys are interested in seeing any of these on the poll for next month.

Out of those three, I find the first two the most appealing.

Sadly I can't make this meet up, but I'm already excited by the options for the next.

Any of these would be great. If I had to pick one for the poll, it would be Possession (been on my list for a while).

A bit of a non-sequitur here, and not related your list Shelly, but could we add 'Born to Run' to our list of nominations for Feb?

We could tack on Italo Calvino's Cosmicomics. It's a series of stories that may or may not be told by the same storyteller. They all take place in early years of the universe, so its as if the narrator is part of the singularity at the big bang, or at the birth of the first galaxies, etc. I'm partway through it now. I think people would enjoy it.

Thanks, Chas! That sounds interesting! I'll definitely add that to the poll!
