The Chocolate Lover Festival 2014 is happening during the first weekend in February. History
The festival was developed in 1992 as a joint effort of the City of Fairfax, Central Fairfax Chamber of Commerce, Downtown Fairfax Coalition, Downtown Fairfax Merchants Association and George Mason University. The purpose of the festival was to draw visitors to Old Town Fairfax, to encourage community participation and to foster cooperation among the city government, the business community and local residents. About this year's festival
The Chocolate Lovers Festival, an annual two-day festival held on the first full weekend of February, features activities for all to enjoy. In 2014, the festival will be held February 1-2.
Join us for the Taste of Chocolate, the Chocolate Challenge, the ever-popular Kiwanis Chocolate Chip Pancake Breakfast, open houses at historic buildings and much more.
Some events require a fee, and other events are free to all visitors.
If you would like more information on the event, please visit - http://www.chocolatefestival.net/
We can meetup at a location and bike there, or can meet directly at the festival. Once there, we can go through the festival together, or grab something to eat at the Pancake event (8 am to 1 pm) and disperse into smaller groups (depending on the number of people coming).
If Biking, we will meet at earlier time than suggested below, i would like to be at the festival by 11 AM. From Seven Corners, falls church, its only 10 miles through residential neighborhood streets
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask away :)
