New Meetup: The Excursionists at the Annex Theater

Seattle, WA
Announcing a new Meetup for 20 & 30 Somethings Seattle - Happy hours to hikes - All fun!!

What: The Excursionists at the Annex Theater

When: Saturday, October 2, 2010 8:00 PM

Where: Annex Theatre
1100 E Pike St
Seattle, WA 98122

The Excursionists is a sort of Jules Verne/Monty Python hybrid of two gentleman explorers that embraces the steam-punk sub-genre of science fiction and also could be described as a send up of 1950s and 1960s adventure movies.

Two English Gentlemen circa 1884, Professor Goggins and Lord Necksycracksy set out through the aether of time in order to deliver an important message to one of history’s greatest kings. As fate would have it, traveling through the chasms of time comes with its own consequences. An adventure ensues full of puppetry, sword-fighting, decapitations and a good dose of pomp and perplexity.

**I'm going and am throwing this up for anyone else who might enjoy this show. The opening act, Sigmund Freud vs. His Ego, looks pretty funny too. I have no idea whether or not this will sell out, but Oct. 2nd is the final night, so I'd suggest buying your ticket online ahead of time through the link above.

I'll be outside the theater from 7:20 to 7:40 to greet people. I believe the seating is general admission, so we should be able to get seats together. If you have any questions, feel free to email me.**
