Happy Hour at Gua Rapo!!

UPDATE #5: Drink specials include $4 for most beers (Heiniken, Amstel, Miller, Blue Moon, Peroni, Yuengling), $5 Sangrias, and $5 Gua Rapo drinks until 7pm! Food specials include $5 empanadas, arepas, chifles, and tostones also until 7pm!

Let's kick off 2008 with a bang!... come January, I always get a good case of cabin fever... and feel the need to get out... sooo hopefully, this happy hour will help!

My new year's resolution is to get more involved with Asian charities, so we'll be benefiting the Sunflower Mission... www.sunflowermission.org ... an organization committed to improving lives in Vietnam through educational assistance programs (80% of proceeds will go to the Sunflower Mission, the remaining 20% will go to the 20s & 30s Asian group to cover meetup fees and expenses).

So spread the word, mix and mingle with new and familiar faces, have some fun, and help support a good cause!... suggested $5 donation. Also, the following groups will be co-hosting so far!

Courthouse metro (RECOMMENDED) is within walking distance (Orange line), just 2 stops outside of DC, yet still in VA for you NoVA peeps. WE'LL BE ON THE SECOND FLOOR. Suggest metro / cabbing it (esp. during rush hour), recommend using wmata.
