Hopefully you understand we can't have people canceling and requesting a refund, when that spot could have been filled by others. Just work out payment between yourselves, and send us an email letting us know who will be taking your spot. Thanks for understanding. =)
Open Bar To keep drink lines moving as efficiently as possible and to be fair to everyone, we have a 1 drink per person at-a-time policy for open bar. You may order multiple drinks at once, but each person it goes to must be present in line.
Be Responsible You must be of legal drinking age (21+) to attend this event. We are committed to responsible drinking and behavior, so for your own safety and others, please know your limits! Don’t drink and drive, and please be courteous towards others. Last year, the actions of an unfortunate few (overintoxication, fistfights) caused the venue to require us to stop serving alcohol, and shortly thereafter, the early termination of our New Year's Eve event an hour and fifteen minutes early at 12:45am. This year, we've put significant measures in place, and hired first rate security to help see the success of our event to the very end. We want everyone to have a good time, but in compliance with state liquor law, those overintoxicated, belligerent, or unruly will be removed immediately from the event and our group. Please don't be *that* guy from last year. As a last resort, either we or the venue will have to terminate the event should public safety be threatened. --

My friend and I had a great time! It's exactly what I expected a New Years Party to be: great music, lots of people dancing, and drinking non-stop! The space was cool too. Thanks for organizing!

So many people came but Tony and I came really early so it started out great. The drinks were great and o'deourves were great as well.

I got an early bird ticket and am extremely upset that the attendance limit was raised 33%! Long View advertises a 400 person cocktail capacity - NOT 600!

It literally took 20 minutes for my friend and me to check in once we got to Long View, which pretty much set the tone for the rest of the evening.

The drink lines were horrendously long - 20-30 minutes just to get a drink! They ran out of a lot of stuff and started making very weak drinks by the end of the night. Getting champagne for the midnight toast was very difficult (I was unable to get any). Instead of spending money on magicians and fortune tellers, get another drink station or two in the future (or serve drinks in larger cups so you don't have to go back as often).

The crowd didn't seem very friendly this time either - it felt like nobody wanted to meet new people, whereas I made several new friends at the Halloween party.

You know the party failed when the coat check was the highlight of the evening.

The entire evening consisted of waiting in lines.

    1) Huge line to get checked into the event. 2) Huge lines everywhere to get drinks. "Champagne" toast at the end was a well-hidden secret.
    3) Every bar out of liquor early. Bartender didn't know how to open a bottle of champagne.
    4) Entertainment ignored because instead of a mingle-type event this was more a club-type event. Too loud and not enough space.
    5) Upping the # of attendees was a bad idea.
    6) Had 4 drinks total at ... about $20 a drink.
    7) Not worth $75. At all. The only good thing was the music; the DJing was superb.

I had a great start to the new year! Fun party, great people, and awesome music! The gallery was hopping. I always went to the front bar away from the crowd so I didn't have trouble getting a drink. The tent area looked great and I got to see some of the local fireworks since we were outside. Happy New Year everyone!

I forgot to set the payment setting for this event. I just made the change, so you should be able to make payment now (upper right hand corner).

Payment instructions can be found near the bottom of the event posting.

    Hope to see you there!
