Games are a huge part of culture. Who we are and where we're from influence the games we play. As this is an Asian group, we should play Asian games. This time we will be playing Chinese games such as xiangqi (Chinese Chess), weiqi (go), mahjong and card games such as Big 2. Don't worry- we have people willing to teach members how to play. And no gambling will be allowed. This is just for fun and this is a FREE meetup. When you RSVP, please indicate which game you can bring. We'll be there from 2pm to 5pm. Drop in whenever you can. The closest metro stops are Metro Center and Gallery Place/Chinatown. After we're done playing, we'll head out to a nearby restaurant for dinner and conversation.
We'll be at Martin Luther King Library near Chinatown in Meeting Room A-9. When you enter from G Street, immediately make a right and go down one flight of steps. I'll post signs on the walls showing where to go.

Hey Joe,
I have a xiangqi set. It's kind of cheap, but I'll be happy to bring it on Saturday.
