My move to DC occurred in 2007 from Alaska to pursue a career. The transition from the frigid, dark, and mostly boring state to an actual City with real buildings was refreshing.

I was originally born in New York. My father was in the military, so moving around the country was pretty common. I've been to New York, Hawaii, Kansas, Alaska, Maryland, and Virginia.
