Halloween Party- the Ultimate Meetup Mashups and Crossovers!

Halloween Party!

We've established a venue, gang- we're going to be at Headquarters Beercade in Lakeview for this Halloween! For those of you who don't know, check out their website for the full details, but here's a brief rundown about this excellent venue right off the Diversey Brown Line stop:

Headquarters Beercade houses 37 vintage arcade games, FREE to play, an enormous rotating craft beer list (they have some pumpkin ale and some cider on hand, just in time for Halloween), signature cocktails, and a great dance floor. It's a unique, fun venue, and we cannot wait to take the party here!

Our theme this Halloween is Mashups and Crossovers! Bust out your best Zombie Superman, your Pee-Wee Herman Munster, or your Batmanatee and Robin Thicke. Mix up two costume ideas, cross-over two different worlds, have fun! Our past parties have been packed and terrific, and we can't wait to get this one going. If you arrive early in the evening, you'll find us congregating near the front of the bar in a separate area, and we will very quickly take over the whole bar.

Oh, yeah, and there will be a costume contest, as per usual- we're teaming up with Headquarters, and there will be a $500 CASH PRIZE for the best costume, so get to work, folks!

NO COVER, great drinks, lots to do, lots of folks to meet and costumes to love.

See you there!

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
