Okay, time to get together for our next happy hour!

Our happy hour will benefit Shady Grove Adventist Hospital... www.shadygroveadventisthospital.com... a local non-for-profit hospital providing care and clinical services, health and medical management, and education and research.  They offer a wide range of free services and is one of the few hospitals that does not turn patients away even to those without insurance coverage... suggested $10 donation. Please note 80% of donations go to the Shady Grove Adventist Hospital and 20% of donations will go to the 20s & 30s Going Out Group to cover Meetup fees and expenses.

DJ Saam will be spinning loungy groovy beats for us. Our happy hours typically bring out 150 - 200 folks... and I wouldn't be surprised with a similar turnout this time around.

If you haven't been there before, Current was developed with modern luxury yacht details in mind. Hardwood floors cover the "deck" and long glass bar tops glow to accent the wavy metal pieces below! 21+

To help continue the friendly tone of this group... I'd like to again encourage each person to have a GOAL OF MEETING 3 NEW PEOPLE at this event. To help do this, for an icebreaker, we'll put your name in a jar as you walk in, and then give you someone else's name from the jar. Also, 20s & 30s Rockstars, please help make all the newcomers feel welcome to our group!

Metro and Parking

Closest Metro is Dupont Circle (Red Line) & Farragut North (Red Line), I suggest metro / cabbing it (esp. during rush hour). I also recommend using wmata for travel plans. Don't forget to account for Metro and traffic delays. If you are driving, you will need to find street parking or a garage.

      This group is very open and friendly so arriving to an event by yourself is perfectly fine since there will be others who also come alone. People do bring friends but there is also a good mix of first timers and those looking to meet new friends.See you there!
