Yes it's difficult to produce great art when you have to keep a tight grip on your canvas/paper. High winds always make it impossible for me to relax and concentrate.

Isn't Savage Hill the place with, yes, a railroad tressel and an interesting building in ruins along a creek? The pictures I saw of the site I inquiring about were from 2010, however I can't seem to find them again. The structure where the group was painting was a granite bridge/tressel looking thingie. It was a very substantial structure, a granite overkill that went over a road.
